Summary

Description
English: The hexameric assembly of the SV40 polyomavirus large tumor antigen (LTag) zinc finger and helicase domains (rainbow) bound to the human tumor suppressor p53 (light blue). This interaction is one of several protein-protein interactions between the virally encoded LTag and host cell proteins, and is known to be critical to LTag's ability to induce cellular transformation.

Compare File:5tct LTag DNA.png, showing the same protein bound to double-stranded DNA.
