Summary

Description
English: 1968 AMC AMX - a two-seat sports muscle car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This factory original car has the "390 Go Package" featuring AMC's then new 390 cu in (6.4 L) 4-bbl 315 hp V8 and also included power disk brakes, "Twin-Grip" differential, E70x14 red-stripe performance tires on chromed "Magnum 500" styled-steel wheels, heavy-duty suspension with thicker sway-bars, heavy-duty cooling, as well as other performance items. This car has the "Shift Command" automatic transmission, power steering, air conditioning, and adjustable steering wheel. It has the (no) radio delete plate, but is equipped with the dealer accessory luggage rack. Finished in "Matador Red" with white racing stripes included with the Go Pac. Note: Restored 100% stock Hertz rent a car. Picture taken at the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
