Nightmist Blue 1967 saw the Mustangs first major redesign, It got a larger engine bay, so Ford could fit their first big-block engine in the Mustang. The Shelby Mustang was a high performance version of the Ford Mustang which were built by Shelby America from 1965-1970. Driving lights were mounted in the center of the grille (some were moved to the sides to meet state laws). Inside was the deluxe interior and a roll bar. In 1967, the GT350 was still available with the 306 bhp K Code 289 V8 with high riser manifold, but also available was the GT500 with 428 Police Interceptor engine with twin 600-cfm Holley 4 bbl carbys 2948 GT500s made (1175 GT350s).
