The Chemin de Fer du Blanc-Argent was once an extensive metre gauge system in the Centre Region of France. Over the years it has been cut back extensively and was a particularly difficult system to cover thanks to low frequencies. On 3 May 1992, railcar X214 is seen at Luçay-le-Mâle on the 19:19 departure to Chabris. This section plus that onto Valençay closed in 2009. Despite this, the remaining section still open had new narrow gauge railcars delivered in 2002.
