Carlos Eduardo Ferreira Batista (born 6 October 1992 in Vizela, Braga District), known as Káká, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for U.D. Leiria as a left-back.
Hailing from Vizela, he first joined União Leiria in 2016. He played there for two years, and following an absence he returned in 2020. He renewed his contract in 2023, as Leiria finally gained re-promotion to the Liga Portugal 2, and again in 2024. At the time he was the squad member with the most games for Leiria, surpassing 150 games in the fall of [3] 2023.[4][5][6] He missed some of the 2023–24 season due to injury.[7]
He also played for Vizela from 2018[8] and Olhanense in 2020.[9]
