Women's 400 metres hurdles
at the Commonwealth Games

The women's 400 metres hurdles event at the 1986 Commonwealth Games was held on 27 and 28 July at the Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh.[1]

The winning margin was 1.61 seconds which as of 2024 remains the only time the women's 400 metres hurdles was won by more than 1.4 seconds at these games.
