Andrea Rán Snæfeld Hauksdóttir (born 28 January 1996) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for USL Super League side Tampa Bay Sun. She debuted for the Iceland women's national team in 2016.[2]

College

Andrea played college soccer for the University of South Florida. She was named the American Athletic Conference midfielder of the year in 2018 and 2019.[3][4]

Professional

Andrea played for Breiðablik from 2011 to 2021. She was loaned to Le Havre for part of the 2021 season and later signed with Houston Dash.[5] In 2022 she signed with Club América of the Liga MX Femenil.[6]

Hauksdóttir returned to play in the United States in July 2024, signing with Tampa Bay Sun in the USL Super League. Tampa Bay is coached by Denise Schilte-Brown, who coached Hauksdóttir while she played for the South Florida Bulls.[7]

Andrea is in a relationship with professional baseball pitcher Shane McClanahan, who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays. The couple met while they attended college at the University of South Florida.
