Bouchercon is an annual convention of creators and devotees of mystery and detective fiction.[1] It is named in honour of writer, reviewer, and editor Anthony Boucher; also the inspiration for the Anthony Awards, which have been issued at the convention since 1986.[2] This page details Bouchercon XXXI and the 15th Anthony Awards ceremony.
Bouchercon
[edit]The convention was held September 7–10, 2000, in Denver. The event was chaired by mystery author Rebecca Bates and Tom Schantz, owner of Rue Morgue Press, publishers of mystery fiction.[3][4]
